All information you enter into WAYWO, including but not limited to:

• Time entries and durations
• Category and subtask names
• Task descriptions and notes
• Day session information
• Application settings and preferences

2. How Your Data is Stored

Local Storage Only

WAYWO stores your data locally on your computer using platform-native storage mechanisms:

Mac version: Uses macOS's built-in UserDefaults system, stored in a property list (plist) file located at:
~/Library/Preferences/ca.prototypelabs.WAYWOMac.plist

Windows version: Will use Windows local application data storage (details will be provided when the Windows version launches).

No Cloud Synchronization

WAYWO does not use iCloud, third-party cloud services, or any form of remote data synchronization. Your time tracking data exists only on the computer where you installed the application.

Data Backup

Mac: Your WAYWO data is automatically included in your Time Machine backups (if enabled) along with your other Mac data.

Windows: Your WAYWO data can be backed up using Windows backup solutions (details will be provided with the Windows release).

We recommend using your operating system's backup solution to protect your time tracking information.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

WAYWO Mac explicitly does NOT collect:

• Personal identification information - No names, email addresses, or contact information
• Usage analytics - We don't track how you use the app
• Device information - No hardware specs, system details, or unique identifiers
• Location data - We don't access or store your location
• Network activity - We don't monitor your internet connection or network usage
• Crash reports - No automatic crash reporting (you may manually report issues to support)
• Marketing data - No advertising IDs or marketing profiles

4. No Third-Party Services

WAYWO Mac operates completely independently and does not integrate with or transmit data to any third-party services, including:

• Analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel)
• Advertising networks
• Social media platforms
• Cloud storage services
• Authentication services

5. Internet Connectivity

WAYWO does not require an internet connection to function. The app works entirely offline. We do not make any network requests, and the app does not connect to any servers.

The only internet-related activity occurs when you choose to:

• Mac: Check for updates via the Mac App Store (managed by Apple, not us)
• Windows: Check for updates (when available)
• Visit our support website (optional)

Because we don't collect your data, we have nothing to share. WAYWO does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to any third parties.

Legal Requests

Since we don't collect or have access to your time tracking data, we cannot provide it to law enforcement or other parties, even if legally requested. Your data exists only on your computer.

WAYWO is a productivity tool designed for professional use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since the app stores all data locally and collects no information, there are no special considerations for children's privacy beyond the general privacy protections described in this policy.

Complete Data Ownership

You have complete ownership and control of all data created in WAYWO Mac. You can:

• Access: View all your data within the app at any time
• Modify: Edit or update any time entries, categories, or notes
• Delete: Remove individual entries or delete all data by uninstalling the app
• Export: Backup your data using Time Machine or by copying the preferences file

Data Deletion

Mac: To completely remove all WAYWO data from your Mac:

1. Quit the WAYWO application
2. Delete the app from your Applications folder
3. Remove the preferences file at: ~/Library/Preferences/ca.prototypelabs.WAYWOMac.plist

Windows: Data deletion instructions will be provided when the Windows version launches.

9. App Distribution and Stores

Mac version: WAYWO for Mac is distributed through the Mac App Store. Apple may collect certain information related to your App Store account and downloads, which is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, not ours. We have no access to this information.

WAYWO does not require or request access to:

• Any other system resources beyond basic app functionality

While we implement standard security practices in developing WAYWO, the security of your data primarily depends on:

• Your computer's security: Use full disk encryption to protect all data
• User account protection: Secure your user account with a strong password

Since all data is stored locally, your operating system's security features protect your WAYWO data along with all your other files.
